The article is devoted to the use of the term «medical and psychological rehabilitation» in Russian legislation, legal and medical literature. The issue of its appearance and legal interpretation in various legislative acts is briefly highlighted. It is concluded that it belongs to the field, first of all, of regulatory and legal support for military medicine activities, the terms medical rehabilitation and medical and psychological assistance are relevant outside of it.
