The realization of the purpose of the article is connected with the substantiation of the logic of the formation of modern information support for the economic security of entrepreneurial activity. To do this, attention is focused on the factors influencing this process and the features of the movement of information in the economic security system. As a result, it is justified that any incoming information (both from the external and internal environment) is reflected in mechanisms, algorithms, and models for ensuring economic security. The logical consequence of the study was the formation of the structure of information support (regulatory and legal information; regulatory and reference information; factual information), considered as a process (mechanism, algorithm) and a separate managed system.
