THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE STUDY OF QUALITY OF LIFE MANAGEMENT

The study is devoted to the study of theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis and management of the quality of life of the population, the improvement of which is a key goal of public policy. This issue is revealed through an in-depth study of the essential characteristics of such concepts as "standard of living" and "quality of life" of the population, followed by the formulation of the author's definitions of the categories under consideration and with a logical definition of common features, similarities and differences between these concepts. The definition of the essential characteristics of these concepts allowed us to explore various approaches and models to assess the level and quality of life of the population, as well as take a more detailed look at the issue under consideration from the point of view of socio-economic development of the country and regions. According to the results of the study, the main directions of state policy and legislative regulation of quality of life management are determined, which together allows us to project the theoretical and methodological foundations of quality of life management in the practical plane.
