PECULIARITIES OF FORMALIZATION OF THE POWERS OF AN ACTING LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE

The article focuses on the legal issues of formalising the authority of group and individual representation ("support") of minors travelling alone from their parents, guardians, custodians. The research analyses the content of more than ten thousand notarial consents of legal representatives to accompany children on the territory of Russia and foreign countries, as well as local normative acts regulating the support of minors by employees of educational, sports, creative and other children's organisations. As a result of the research, the scope of the representative powers actually delegated by parents (guardians, custodians) and the powers actually exercised by temporary escorts (acting as the child's legal representative) was determined.
