The relevance of the study of problems and prospects for the development of youth policy in the context of state support is due to a number of factors. Young people represent the future of any society, and their involvement in the socio-economic life of the country is critically important for sustainable development. At the same time, young people are often a source of innovation and new ideas that can significantly contribute to economic growth and development. However, the implementation of youth policy with the support of the state faces a number of problems, which reduces its effectiveness, hindering the development of youth entrepreneurship. The article examines the problems and prospects of youth policy development in the context of state support in Russia. The author identifies as the main problems: lack of funding and resources, bureaucratic barriers, insufficient cooperation and dialogue between educational institutions and the real sector of the economy, uneven distribution of resources, lack of qualified personnel, low awareness of young people regarding preferences and opportunities, problems of obtaining support from experienced entrepreneurs, lack of dialogue with the mentoring community. According to the results of the study, measures were proposed for the development of youth policy in conditions of state support, including increased funding, reduction of bureaucratic barriers, infrastructure development, staff training and active youth awareness.
