Socialization plays an important role in the life of both an individual and society as a whole. The comfortable and prosperous life of an individual in the social sense depends on its success. Thus, a person must learn the values that have formed in a given culture, norms of behavior, and also realize their abilities by establishing interaction with partners in the system of social connections. The process of socialization is the subject of study of many scientific disciplines, including philosophy and sociology, psychology, anthropology and pedagogy. Analysis of the category of socialization allows us to trace the evolution of scientific views on this phenomenon in the context of historical development.
