TECHNOLOGICAL LEADERSHIP AS A BASIS FOR STRUCTURAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL MODERNIZATION

A brief analysis of the complex of issues related to the problem of achieving technological leadership is proposed. It is emphasized that the focus of technological leadership has put on the agenda the provision of a fundamental breakthrough, first of all, in the reconstruction of industry with a focus on the production of the final product at all levels - global, national and sectoral. Separate directions related to ensuring technological leadership are proposed, in particular: to strengthen control over its implementation by creating a single coordination center; to raise the level of funding for domestic science to ensure technological leadership, and to increase investments in priority projects.
