The article provides a comprehensive theoretical and legal analysis of the Combat Fire Protection Regulations of 1950 and 1953 as the fundamental documents regulating the activities of fire protection in the USSR in the post-war period. The historical background of their adoption, structural and substantive features, as well as the impact on the development of the fire safety system are investigated.
