PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS IN PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO RUSSIAN REGIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION

Currently, there is a continuing differentiation of regions in Russia depending on their financial capabilities and socio-economic development. In these conditions of Russian reality, consideration of the features of various methods and forms of financial support to the subjects of the Russian Federation to solve acute territorial problems remains very relevant. The article discusses the main problems of financial support of the Russian regions from the state, as well as ways to solve these problems in the context of digitalization. The author identifies such problems in the field under study as insufficient transparency and traceability of financial flows, inefficient allocation of resources and often corruption risks, imbalance in the distribution of financial resources due to significant differences in the economic development of regions, high dependence of many regions on transfers from the federal budget. Some measures have been proposed to solve them in the context of digitalization of public administration. The article also proposes a solution to the problems of providing financial support to Russian regions using the digital ruble, the use of which will lead to increased transparency of state financial support, lower transaction costs, faster settlements, and increased availability of financial services.
