INTRODUCTION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY AND TRANSPARENCY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IN RUSSIA

In public administration, as in other areas, modern innovative technologies have been actively introduced in recent years to achieve many different goals. One of these goals of introducing digital technologies in public administration is to increase efficiency and transparency. The article examines the regulatory and legal foundations of digitalization of public administration in Russia, describes the main digital technologies used in public administration and their advantages for improving the efficiency and transparency of public administration. The problems of the introduction and use of new technologies in public administration in Russia are identified and ways to solve them in the near future are proposed. The problems of using digital technologies in public administration were identified: underdeveloped infrastructure and digital inequality, low level of digital literacy, information security problems, resistance to change on the part of employees and citizens, regulatory barriers. Solutions to these problems were proposed: the development of infrastructure for the use of digital technologies, the introduction of more educational programs in this area, strengthening cybersecurity measures, change management, including training, support and motivation of employees at all stages of the introduction of new technologies, adaptation of the regulatory framework.
