ANALYSIS OF WAYS OF ECONOMIC AND TRADE COOPERATION BETWEEN HEILONGJIANG PROVINCE AND KHABAROVSK KRAI

This article analyzes the economic and trade cooperation between China's Heilongjiang Province and Russia's Khabarovsk Krai, highlighting the significance of this interaction amid various challenges facing both sides. Historically serving as China's "northern gateway," Heilongjiang has been experiencing difficulties including population decline and economic downturn, necessitating active cooperation with Russia to improve its economy and infrastructure. The article examines current achievements in trade, as well as supplies and imports between the regions, highlighting the increasing role of joint projects such as the International Cooperation Demonstration Zone on Bolshoy Ussuri Island. It also examines challenges such as geopolitical instability and lack of cultural exchange, and concludes with recommendations for improving bilateral relations through the creation of digital platforms, the development of transport corridors, and increased communication between businesses in both countries.
