PROBLEMS OF LEGAL REGULATION OF PROTECTION OF CONSUMER RIGHTS IN THE AGREEMENT OF CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS

The article analyzes the contract for the carriage of passengers in the public transport sector (buses) using the Moscow region as an example. The study showed a number of contradictions in the legal regulation of consumer rights in the sphere of passenger transportation by public transport (buses), concerning the choice of the method of payment for travel. Taking into account that the rights of consumers (passengers) are not fully realized, proposals are formulated to change the legislation in order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens. In addition, measures are proposed to implement changes in the law.
