Comparative jurisprudence at the present stage of social development is an integral element of legal reality. As rightly noted in the specialized literature, comparative law is an indispensable tool for improving any branch of national law, as well as an effective means of improving the rule of law. Family law is no exception. Such importance of theoretical comparative legal research for the national law of countries is due to the fact that effective political and legal reforms are impossible without systematic scientific knowledge in the field of legal development. This systematization is achieved primarily by comparative law. The specifics of family legal relations in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Peru have both common features and special features peculiar to each specific national legal order. At the same time, it is the special features of family legal relations, not peculiar to one family legal relationship, but peculiar to other legal relations, that can form both the basis for systematization of scientific knowledge and the basis for changing the norms of national legislation.
Keywords:grounds for the emergence of family relations, divorce, separation, dishonest behavior, marriageable age.
