Modern agriculture is going through a period of active digitalization, where the Internet of Things technologies play a key role. The article considers current IoT solutions used in the agro-industrial complex to improve production efficiency. The advantages of implementing IoT in the agricultural sector are analyzed, such as reducing resource costs, increasing crop yields and minimizing environmental impact. Challenges and barriers are also considered, including high initial costs, the need for reliable telecommunications infrastructure and cybersecurity issues. Particular emphasis is placed on the prospects for the development of IoT in agriculture, including integration with other digital technologies.
