METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE ASSESSMENT OF NATIONAL FINANCIAL SECURITY INDICATORS: ACHIEVEMENTS AND PROBLEM AREAS

The article presents a comparative analysis of methodological approaches to the definition and assessment of indicators of national financial security. The research focuses on identifying key achievements and unresolved issues in this area. Various classifications and methods for determining threshold values of indicators are analyzed, including the method of analogies, expert assessments, a normative approach and mathematical models. The article also examines current trends in the typology of financial security, as well as the influence of external factors (including sanctions) on the relevance of certain indicators. The main methodological problems have been identified: the lack of a unified approach to selecting criteria for selecting indicators, selectivity in setting thresholds, and insufficient validity of a number of proposed indicators.
