Remote employment of personnel is a popular form of labor organization in modern conditions. It requires certain conditions, which are associated with providing remote workplaces with the necessary information infrastructure, software, as well as equipment and opportunities for Internet communication. At the same time, many employees prefer to go to such employment, which contributes to the flexible organization of their work. Remote employment reached its peak in 2020, when more than 80% of the workforce had to switch to this format due to the pandemic. However, it required the development of a new legal framework that takes into account the specific features and challenges of remote employment.
The article examines the gaps and contradictions in these issues, as they remain unresolved to this day, leading to legal disputes and the need for a new legal framework.
