ISSUES OF METHODOLOGY FOR OVERCOMING DISPARITIES IN SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT

The article discusses the methodological aspects of overcoming the unevenness of spatial development in relation to changes in interregional disparities in socioeconomic development. The article reflects the prerequisites for the demand for methodological constructs of mechanisms for overcoming the unevenness of spatial development in the face of new challenges and opportunities. The article addresses the issue of multi-level decomposition of mechanisms for overcoming uneven spatial development. Attention is focused on involving space in achieving national and spatial development goals. The mechanisms for overcoming the unevenness of spatial development have been systematized, and the list is not exhaustive. The article raises the issue of distinguishing between the mechanisms for solving problems of overcoming uneven spatial development and the mechanisms for implementing them, and reflects the problem and necessity of designing the latter to ensure the effectiveness of overcoming uneven spatial development.
