PLATFORM ECONOMY: CONDITIONS, PRINCIPLES AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

The study of the platform economy based on digital platforms is relevant for Russia, due to its significant impact on various sectors of the economy and society. The purpose of the work: to analyze the conditions and directions of development of the platform economy, to identify problems in ensuring sustainable development. Tasks: to analyze the conceptual apparatus of the new form of economy; to substantiate the principles of functioning of platform companies, to highlight negative trends; to develop recommendations for the development of the platform economy in the interests of the state, business, society. Results of the study: opportunities for the development of the platform economy are identified, its advantages, problems, principles of operation are determined. It is proven that the platform economy is developing, has significant potential, however, the lack of clear legal regulation creates risks and limits its growth.
