Social development and self-determination of adolescents is a complex, multi-layered process of integrating the individual into social reality through the acquisition of cultural norms, values, and behavioral patterns. The development of the younger generation's personality directly depends on the transformations occurring in the global world and their immediate social environment. The need for a deep understanding and comprehensive study of social changes, their essential characteristics, and their impact on the development of a child's personality remains a crucial research challenge. This paper analyzes the socialization process of modern adolescents. Based on a comprehensive theoretical study of scientific sources, it reveals key features of the contemporary social environment and the mechanisms by which various factors influence youth development in the information society.
