THE MAIN TRENDS AND PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN MODERN BUSINESS

In modern conditions of technology development, no business can achieve high results without using digital technologies in its activities. Their application is possible in many business processes, which allows companies to increase labor productivity, reduce time and labor resources, thereby increasing the efficiency of their activities as a whole. The purpose of the article is to identify the main trends and prospects for the development of digital technologies in modern business, taking into account existing problems and shortcomings. The article discusses the regulatory framework for the development of digital technologies in Russia, the types of digital technologies that can improve the efficiency of enterprises in any industry in Russia. Also, according to the review of sources, the problems that arise during the digitalization of business processes of enterprises in Russia are presented. Among them are: lack of qualified personnel, high cost of implementation, resistance to change, low level of digital literacy, lack of developed infrastructure, low degree of integration of business processes, cyber risks and security, lack of government support. Based on the results of the study, the directions of the identified problems of business digitalization are proposed. The author comes to the conclusion that with a competent approach, business digitalization can contribute to significant success, despite existing problems and shortcomings.
