Skopa V. A.  (Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies Altai State Pedagogical University (Barnaul) )

In the modern Russian social system, the family is a fundamental element of the social structure, fulfilling critical functions in the reproduction and development of human potential. The family is a strategic resource for national development, where the initial formation of personal and social competencies in the new generation of citizens occurs. Basic cultural codes, value orientations, and models of social interaction are transmitted through intrafamily communication practices. Through direct communication, personal example, and educational practices, adults instill fundamental moral guidelines in the younger generation. Children adopt these models of interaction, learn to recognize good and evil, and develop concepts of honor, dignity, and mutual respect. The family as a social institution is a key mechanism for the upbringing and development of the moral foundations of the individual.
