INDUSTRIAL TOURISM IN THE BRYANSK REGION: RESOURCE POTENTIAL, PROBLEMS AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

This article examines the resource potential of industrial tourism in the Bryansk region as a tool for diversifying the regional economy and developing a new tourism product. The study identified industrial enterprises in the region that are or could be targets for industrial tourism. Based on ratings and a typology of municipalities, the territorial structure of the resource potential of industrial tourism in the region was determined. Content analyses of industrial enterprise and tourism company websites, a SWOT analysis, and a student survey helped identify the challenges and prospects for the development of this tourism sector. Conclusions regarding the structure of the regional industrial tourism market are also provided. The findings can be used in developing a strategy and roadmap for the development of industrial tourism in the Bryansk region.
