Primary prophylaxis of stomatologic diseases at children in Nalchik

The purpose of the work is to determine the level of significance of prima-ry prevention of dental diseases in childhood. 113 children were inter-viewed. Research work was carried out to determine the level of signifi-cance of primary prevention of dental diseases among schoolchildren of the 2nd grade. According to the survey, it was found that attendance by children of a dentist at least once a year is 31%; knowledge of dental car-ies and its complications - 51%; replacement of toothbrushes 1 time in 3 months - 11%; knowledge of proper brushing of teeth - 9%. After con-ducting health lessons, the literacy rate of schoolchildren has grown signif-icantly. From which follows the need to conduct educational work among school-age children.
