Assessment of the level of knowledge of parents and children of pre-school age on oral hygiene

Insufficient awareness of the population on oral hygiene issues leads to various dental diseases, in particular caries and periodontal tissue diseases. One of the most important tasks of a pediatric dentist is the hygienic training and education of preschool children in order to form their hygienic skills and create conditions for their development into a need. And in this they should be helped by their parents, who should not only call for correct behavior, but also be real role models. This article examines the level of knowledge of parents and preschool children on oral hygiene by questionnaire.
