Effect of used matrix type on transform results

The article discusses a formation of matrix for performing discrete transforms. The issues of block matrices forming when performing calculations are considered. Advantages of using formed matrices with central symmetry are shown. Discrete transformations are considered depending on a blocks number and processing direction. A simulation results are presented in graphical form. Despite the fact that presented expressions are used to process a one-dimensional signal, the proposed approach can be extended to two-dimensional data with appropriate changes.
