In the work, an analysis was made of digital forms of interaction between government agencies and the population. The main trends in the development of the processes of interaction of public authorities with the population through the use of information technologies are determined. The legal framework governing the digitalization of state and municipal government, as well as directly related to improving the quality of the provision of electronic public services to the population, is considered.
