ASSESSMENT OF THE ONCOLOGICAL MORBIDITY OF THE ORAL CAVITY AMONG THE POPULATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA

this work is due to the high prevalence of dental morbidity among the population, high mortality, as well as large economic losses. The occurrence of precancerous diseases and malignant neoplasms of the oral cavity is preceded by non-compliance with a set of sanitary and hygienic measures, which includes the elimination of harmful household habits, proper nutrition, oral hygiene, high-quality sanitation of the oral cavity. The importance of this problem indicates the need to improve the methods of diagnosis and prevention, to increase the degree of "oncological alertness" of both dentists and patients themselves. In this regard, a statistical analysis of the data of patients' medical records was carried out on the basis of the State Medical Institution of the Republic of Moldova "Republican Oncological Dispensary". The need for medical care for oncostomatological patients is increasing every year due to the intensive growth of oncological processes in the oral cavity.
