in this article, the author provides an overview of ERP-class management systems, noting that they are currently the most effective tool for integrating and optimizing basic business processes in the food industry. Their implementation allows you to achieve significant advantages by automating the planning, accounting, analysis and control of company resources. A review of the functionality and analysis of the practical experience of using ERP systems in the food industry shows their high efficiency for this industry. In the context of the current situation on the Russian IT market and the imposed economic sanctions, special attention is paid to the comparative assessment of domestic and foreign ERP platforms. An analysis of recent trends indicates the prospects for localization and adaptation of global ERP systems to the needs of Russian enterprises. Possible ways of ERP development in the direction of greater functionality, scalability and integration of advanced IT technologies are discussed.
