A TECHNIQUE FOR INCREASING THE STABILITY OF OPTICAL TRANSPORT COMMUNICATION NETWORKS IN THE CONTEXT OF INFORMATION SECURITY THREATS ARISING AT THE PHYSICAL AND CHANNEL LEVELS

The article discusses a technique for increasing the stability of special-purpose optical transport communication networks (STS SN) in the context of information security threats. An integrated approach based on the use of machine learning methods and hidden Markov models (SMM) is proposed, which reduces the time required to detect attacks at the physical and channel levels. A model of the network status and attack classification has been developed, as well as an algorithm for taking preventive measures. The results obtained contribute to improving the survivability and reliability of networks within the critical information infrastructure.
