The paper considers ways to solve problems that arise as a result of the contradiction between the need for an effective way to support management activities to maintain the technical characteristics of used mechanical engineering products at a modern level, on the one hand, and significant financial costs caused by factors of technological development, entailing the emergence of insufficiently developed information links between subjects of interaction when using mechanical engineering products.
