This article provides solutions to issues related to the quality of satisfaction of the latter in the productivity of interaction between volunteers and students with disabilities.
We hypothesized that a significant obstacle that reduces the quality of rehabilitation of students with disabilities is the poor development of health-oriented self-education, based on the desire to lead a healthy lifestyle. The problem of volunteers’ readiness for health-oriented self-education of special students lies in the lack of development of a functional model of such assistance program, guided by which volunteers developed more flexible skills in helping such students. When designating the content of task blocks in the proposed model, we were guided by the logic of developing in volunteers such competencies that made it possible to effectively assist students with disabilities in building an individually expressed healthy lifestyle that ensures overall satisfaction with life. Identification and analysis of the content of each block of assistance showed that volunteers experience the greatest difficulties in solving the first three blocks of tasks related to differentiating the difficulties that special students encounter when mastering effective self-educational operations or actions.
