the article examines the characteristics inherent in all real estate objects. It is determined that one of the main signs of real estate is a sign of connectedness with the land. Land plots and subsoil plots are real estate due to their inherent physical properties. The analysis of the definition of a land plot in the Land Code of the Russian Federation and the Civil Code of the Russian Federation allowed us to conclude that they differ in legal content. The study of the features of other real estate objects allowed us to conclude about their main features and the corresponding legal regimes.
