This article is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of the regional labor market in the Vladimir Region, which is occurring under the conditions of modern socio-economic changes. The study examines and systematizes key employment trends, analyzes the structure of the labor market, and identifies territorial, sectoral, and skill-based disproportions. The article identifies the key challenges that determine the dynamics of the labor market, namely: demographic and technological factors, including migration outflow and the mismatch between the professional and skill-based training of specialists and the current demands of the regional economy. Special attention is given to analyzing the drivers of sustainable development, specifically: the development of human capital, support for the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, stimulation of public-private partnerships, and the intensification of innovative and promising sectors of the economy. The results obtained allow for the formulation of scientifically sound and practically significant recommendations for government authorities, employers, and educational institutions, aimed at minimizing existing disproportions and strengthening the socio-economic sustainability of the region.
