The reactionary potential of the post-Internet visuality in curatorial and artistic practices from the standpoint of critical theory

Post-Internet art is one of the most relevant and ambiguous areas in the field of contemporary culture. Representatives of this area are often criticized by left-wing cultural figures. The article discusses the artistic concepts of (neo-)Marxism and critical theory, then an analysis of the so-called reactionary turns and anti-modernist movements in the visual arts is carried out, as a result, arguments are given in favor of the reactionary potential of the post-Internet aesthetics.
