THE RELATIONSHIP OF MOTIVATIONAL FEATURES OF GAMING ACTIVITY AMONG ELECTRIC POWER ENGINEERS TO SUCCESS IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

The article describes the second stage of the study of the success of electric power engineers in professional training. The progress of the first stage of the study, conducted by S.S. Epatko, is briefly described, during which the generating game "10-0.4 kilovolt Electric Grid area" was conducted and the success estimates were given by a group of experts. In the second stage of the study, the motives of gaming activity were investigated in order to test the hypothesis that the motive of development will positively correlate with professional success. The motives of gaming activity were measured using a specially developed author's questionnaire. Correlation analysis was used to check the relationship. The hypothesis is confirmed.
