This article concentrates on one of the most relevant methods of attracting investments for today – project finance. The authors thoroughly describe the instruments and the ways of realizing the abovementioned method of accumulating funds. The main part of the paper is devoted to risks, which occur in the context of project finance, and their classification. In addition, the ways of effective risk management and risk minimization are offered by the authors.
