In our country, government policy on orphans and children left without parental care has unambigu-ous direction - the transfer of children to grow up in families of citizens. This line determines the need for development of the sector of psychology that studies the characteristics of children in fos-ter care, in particular, the aspect of the impact of traumatic experiences in teenagers who are brought up in a foster family, the attitude towards oneself and others, as it will allow to develop the forms and methods of work with both child, and with the family.
Psychological studies show that overall physical and mental development of children or-phaned different from the development of their peers growing up in families.
"Home" Children see themselves as a whole is positive and believe that others are al-so valued highly enough, the children from the orphanage for the most part give yourself a negative assessment, and reflective self-portrait from them worse.
These data are, first of all, say that for teenagers from the orphanage central acts Communication (since moral qualities primarily govern the interaction with other people and society as a whole), for the 'home' school - mastering his own behavior and his self. And in this sense of "home" school, it can be considered a mature personality.
