in the past two decades, the project activity become a common form organization of the work, project management formed in a new profession. There are special requirements to competence level of professionals involved in the project: shared understanding of project goals (especially in the case where the intrinsic goals do not coincide with the goals set from the stakeholders), awareness of time-bounds for achieving the result, planning and programming of activities, taking into account peculiarities of their own skills and the environment, understanding of the relationships and communication flows in the project. On the basis of theoretical analysis, we highlight the key characteristics of the project activities that distinguish it from the traditional forms of work organization. A study on the problem of subjectivity of professionals included in the project activities, attended by 152 employees (average age 33 years). Questionnaire developed for this study can be used to measure current "Self-image" of professional included in project activities, his objectives, social responsibility, functional states, system of relationships that are emerging in the project.
