The problem of understanding a psychologist client in a situation of cross-cultural interaction

In modern foreign and especially American psychology the problem of cross-cultural interactions in the framework of psychological counseling and psycho-therapy is one of the most popular. The study of cross-cultural aspects of psy-chotherapeutic interaction helps the consultant to be more accurate in as-sessing the situation with the client, the choice of strategies of psychological adjustment and methods of compensation - minimizing culturally based errors (biases) in their own interpretations, attitudes and actions (behaviour) that are considered in this article.
