The intergenerational transmission of deviant maternal behavior

as one of the causes contributing to the emergence of deviant forms of maternal behavior are considered unconscious patterns of behavior that are associated usually with traumatic experiences, transmitted from generation to generation on the maternal line. The aim of this work was the study of the psychoanalytic views about the intergenerational transmission of deviant maternal behavior to improve care to patients who survived the traumatic experience of deviant motherhood.
