Basic approaches to the research of the entity, structure, functions and mechanisms of helplessness

In article modern views are stated of a psychological phenomenon of the learned helplessness. The theory of attributions as the key theory of emergence of helplessness is analyzed. The learned helplessness is considered from the point of view of various psychological concepts. On the basis of the logiko-theoretical analysis definition of a condition of helplessness is removed, and the empirical reviewers of a condition of helplessness peculiar to children of preschool age are offered.
