Some problems of interpretation of formal program of logical positivism

The article aims at analysis of the main elements of formal program of foundation of scientific knowledge, proposed by logical positivism. In the current methodological literature following requirements are usually assessed as such elements: an exhaustive formalization of theory in the elementary predicate language with equality sign and use of purely syntactic methods of theory analysis. In view of shortcomings of the above mentioned tools of analysis, formal program of logical positivism proves unrealizable. The article demonstrates incorrectness of such interpretation.
