The subculture of graffiti in the contemporary city

the article discusses the role of subculture of graffiti in the contemporary city, describes the main milestones in the study of this question, both abroad and in domestic science. As a result of analysis a comparative analysis of the phenomenon of graffiti and street art. Considered positive and negative aspects of graffiti. Revealed graffiti in contemporary art and urban space. The main conclusions were made based on the study of foreign research papers, and a few domestic.
