The influence of postmodern philosophical and aesthetic thought on the creative ideas of Western European composers of the twentieth century

The article studies the tendencies of the formation of the philosophical and aesthetic thought of postmodernism in the space of the West European musical culture. A comparative analysis of creative and semantic guidelines, paradigms and conceptual bases in the system of cultural and artistic values of modernists and postmodernists is conducted. The work examines the influence of scientific paradigms of the twentieth century on the artistic concepts of composers of the postmodern era. New ways of artistic and aesthetic searches of composers are studied on the example of polystylistics, namely, its influence on the transformation of impressional and ideological principles of musical writing.
