Reflection of the aesthetics of F. Nietzsche in philosophy and Russian culture of the era of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries

The culture of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries is strongly influenced by the philosophy and aesthetics of late romanticism. F. Nietzsche is the central fig-ure of this time. The German philosopher not only exerted a colossal influence on the thinkers of the era of Russian symbolism, but also became definitely a harbinger of the coming cultural decadence. Artists and thinkers of modern times, being influenced by Nietzschean ideas, develop his philosophy to the most powerful cosmogonic act, in the center of which the Nitzshean superman grows to the universal symbolist Creator of the epoch. A new type of Artist and Man creates his own creative unique universe, which miraculously fits in-to the boundaries of a compact and elegant "modern box". This unique con-tradiction between the content and form of works of art leads to a great cul-tural crisis, to decadence, to an epochal break in the history of culture.
