The problem of preservation of national culture in modern China

The purpose of the article is to study the specifics of the problem of preserving the national culture in modern China after the beginning of the policy of reform and openness. The author analyzes the cultural differences between urban and rural areas in China, resulting from ongoing reforms. Another aspect of the problem is the impact of cultural globalization on Chinese national culture. The author comes to the conclusion that the solution of cultural problems has become an integral part of the actions of the Chinese government at the present stage.
