Methodological problems of investigation of personal determinants of selection of life strategy

The article presents an analysis of the personal determinants of the life strategy. The urgency of research of life strategies of its types is substantiated on the basis of personal characteristics of a person. Personality characteristics that underlie the typology of life strategies in domestic and foreign studies are analyzed. A number of methodological problems associated with researching life strategies as a whole are singled out: defining the structure and structural components of the life strategy, identifying the types of life strategies, the features of the age dynamics of life strategies, and determining life strategies. The article substantiates the methodological difficulties of researching personal determinants of life strategies. The methodical apparatus used in various modern studies of the life strategy is analyzed. Presented his view on the personal determinants of life strategy and research methodology.
