Theoretical approaches to solve problems of generations and reproduction

The author of the article reviewed the main theoretical approaches to the problems of formation and functioning of generations, the relevance of the provisions of the works of the German sociologist K. Mannheim to the current state of the theory of generations, as well as its influence on modern scientific thought in theoretical studies of the generation problem, was argued. In this article, philosophical reflection is made about the effectiveness of the generation as a concept that explains the characteristic features of social reality
