Research of the cognitive resource and the dominating management style of the modern female heads

Features of the cognitive sphere and the dominating style of administrative activity are studied (on the example of the commercial and state organizations of the Tver region). The cognitive resource as specific individual style of thinking of female heads was studied by means of A.A Alekseev and L.A. Gromova's technique. With use of a technique of A.A. Yershov and O.V. Evtikhov the preferred styles of administrative activity of female heads are revealed. The analysis of the results received during psychodiagnostic testing has shown that female heads at the solution of questions prefer to use analytical and realistic styles of thinking. The dominating style of administrative activity at investigated is the initiative style which is characterized by simultaneous prevalence of orientation of the head to business and on itself (himself). Female heads are very initiative and persistent, above all appreciate business qualities at the subordinates, are capable to achieve good results in activity, timely and high-quality performance of a task by all group of employees. Female managers can observe external official formal manifestations of administrative activity of the head, namely, to emphasize the status of the head in interaction and communication with subordinates, to observe a big distance with employees, to develop, strengthen and keep the authority on collective.
