Religious factors of the destruction of the Russian state: the ways of co-operation

The article considers one of the components of Russian statehood - a religion whose state and development is determined by five main factors: "religiousness" of society, the role and status of the ROC, the principle of multi-confessionality, the function of education of religion, the relationship of the state and religious organizations. In the field of action of each of the factors listed, there are events destructively affecting the statehood of the Russian Federation through religion. Unfortunately, in Russia now there are following tendencies. People have a faith that does not always coincide with religious teachings, and religion itself turns into some "fashion". Sometimes religion takes on acute forms, where extremist ideas begin to spread. Among the religious organizations there is a priority of the ROC, but it is not legislated, and sometimes the support of the ROC turns out to be detrimental to other faiths. Some local beliefs can be supported for separatist purposes. The implementation of the educational function of religious organizations is distorted. The rights and freedoms of believers are not always protected from discrimination. Often the support of religious organizations depends not on state legislation, but exclusively on individual officials. To overcome the devastating impact on religion, the article cites a number of measures that contribute not only to resist the negative influence, but also to strengthen the phenomenon of religion in Russia.
